Episode 7:

     After two and half years, when the degree was recieved from the University, she went to Ratnagiri again and gave a whole box of kaju katli to them. She touched their feet and secured their blessings. Her dream had been fulfilled.

     Two months later, her grandpa called up her dad and explained him the details of her marriage. He told Madhav that the village Sarpanch was a good friend of his. When he casually spoke to the later regarding Kriti's impending MD degree, the Sarpanch very generously offered the amount, but desired that she should marry his son Habib. The hindu-muslim division was not there and that she could continue being a hindu even after marriage. Her granddad had very happily agreed. Madhav also thought that this was a really good offer. When the matter was put in front of Kriti, she told that she would like to go to four to five dates with Habib. If all went well she would agree to marry him. But if she didn't like him, she would not marry him, but all the family members of the Sarpanch would get totally free treatment from her if ever they fall sick. The Sarpanch agreed. Habib took Kriti out on a date. He belonged to a very rich family. Right within the lush greenery of Ratnagiri he owned a beautiful resort. It was followed by two more resorts in beach side Goa. Although he was just a Commerce graduate, his business sense was good.

Laxmi had recovered and discharged from the hospital, but two weeks later she was shot on the head and killed by unknown men who had covered their face. The information and broadcasting minister Mr Abhay Shanbhag called up Mr Abhijeet Salunke, the man himself and expressed his anger, calling it irresponsible journalism. "Because of you so many people have lost their lives and even the girl has died. You are showing a petty crime as a Bollywood film climax ? Do you know what will be the repercussions of these ?"
