KRITI AND SHRUTI

Serial story

Episode 1:

     "Look whose come, Manohar mama" a stark surprised and elated Kriti exclaimed  calling out to her twin sister Shruti and mom and dad. "Where are Jyoti and Jeevan ?" she asked her uncle. "They are right here" said her uncle pointing to his kids and wife Mridula.
      Both Kriti and Shruti's SSC board exam had just finished five days ago. They had just finished lunch with fish curry, rice and chapatis, when Manohar revealed the massive two week plan to the twins. The parents ie Yashomati- a high school science teacher and Madhav- a MBBS doctor, had gone off to work. After dinner the plan was revealed to the twins' parents also. It involved a visit to 

Mumbai-Nehru planetarium and 

Nehru Science center and 

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj vastu sangrahalay, 

Aurangabad- Grishneshwar Temple,

Bibi ka Maqbara,

The Ajanta caves, 

Ellora caves,

Daulatabad Fort,

Aurangabad Caves,

Pune- the Lal Mahal, 

the Kasba Ganapati temple and 

Shaniwar Wada, 

Murud Janjira fort, Varshne book exhibition, Fort, Shirdi Sai baba temple.
     As the two weeks got over, the guests went back, but left very fond memories in the hearts of the twins. They got to learn a lot too. Indian history, the scientific discoveries and from the biggest book exhibition Kriti and Shruti purchased fifteen science books and ten history books respectively. Their brains got a breath of fresh air, they started thinking independently. The rest of the holidays were spent reading the books purchased.
     Then the day of the SSC result dawned.

Kriti and Shruti   Author: Priya Gopal  Genre: inspirational for teenagers  Serial story  Episode 9:       As per government records 16 people had lost their lives in the clashes and two were injured and admitted to the hospital. Laxmi had recovered and discharged from the hospital, but two weeks later she was shot on the head and killed by unknown men who had covered their face. The information and broadcasting minister Mr Abhay Shanbhag called up Mr Abhijeet Salunke, the man himself and expressed his anger, calling it irresponsible journalism. "Because of you so many people have lost their lives and even the girl has died. You are showing a petty crime as a Bollywood film climax ? Do you know what will be the repercussions of these ?"
